2023 CARIFTA Swimming Championships Bring InterCaribbean EMB-120, Bahamasair 737 and Mitsubishi MU-2 to Curaçao
Written By Patrick Lalande
Special events are great for spotters. They are usually an opportunity to shoot aircraft & operators that do not normally fly to Curaçao. I have had a fair amount of luck catching them in the past and this occasion was no different. Curaçao recently hosted the 2023 CARIFTA swimming championships and I was able to photograph the following airplanes:
VQ-TRG, InterCaribbean Airways Embraer-120ER Basilia;
C6-BFZ, Bahamasair Boeing 737-752; and
N999UP, MOOTOD LLCMitsubishi MU-2B-60.
I did not photograph the Cayman Airways MAX that also brought in participants as I had already photographed one a while ago (Link here) when the airline made its first visit to our island.
