It’s the Coast Guard. No, the other Coast Guard!

Curaçao had an amazing visitor this weekend!

The United States Coast Guard sent one of their HC-130H Hercules, tail number 1706, to the island on Saturday. This was the first time I was able to photograph a USCG aircraft. The service is in the process of retiring its H-model fleet, and sights like this will soon be a thing of the past. This aircraft is currently based at Air Station Clearwater, Florida.

My hopes are raised that we will see an HC-144 Ocean Sentry here in the near future.
