Avianca Airbus A320-214 N724AV in Pride Special Livery at Curaçao
Avianca Airbus A320-214 N724AV, wearing the airline's distinctive Pride special livery, made its first visit to Curaçao on October 18th 2024, arriving from Bogotá El Dorado International Airport (BOG/SKBO).
The Pride livery was unveiled by Avianca as a tribute to diversity, equity and inclusion, with the aircraft's tail painted in the colours of the Pride flag. The design was the work of a team of nearly 20 people at the airline's maintenance centre, taking close to a week to complete. At the unveiling, Avianca stated that "it was our own people who unveiled this aircraft showing the pride flag — our airline is an Avianca for everyone. We are a team of more than 13,000 people with multiple races, cultures, gender identities, sexual orientations, values and ideals — everyone is welcome here." N724AV had its first flight on June 6th 2014 and was delivered by Airbus on July 17th of that same year, making it one of the longer-serving members of Avianca's A320 fleet.
