Royal Netherlands Air Force VIP Gulfstream IV

We had another cool visitor in Curacao this week!

The Royal Netherlands Air Force sent V-11, a Gulfstream IV VIP transport operated by 334 Squadron, on a tour of the Dutch Caribbean islands. The jet, based at Eindhoven airbase in the Netherlands, made stopovers in St-Maarten, Aruba, and Bonaire before arriving in Curaçao on Thursday afternoon. The visit was very brief, with the aircraft departing for the United States on Friday morning.

This was likely V-11’s final visit to the Caribbean islands. It is set to be replaced by a Gulfstream 650 in 2022.

This photo was shot on the Canon EOS 7D MkII with an EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II lens.
