Air Canada Airbus A220-300 C-GJYA First Visit to Curaçao on Mainline Service

More COVID travel problems have cause Air Canada to cease service to Curaçao, from both Toronto and Montréal, on January 24th.

On the bright side, the airline made a change from the Rouge Airbus A319 to mainline Bombardier CS300. This unexpected change gave me my first chance to photograph the type. This was also the first visit of an Air Canada CS300 here in Curaçao!

As you can see in the third photograph, a rainbow came out to mark the occasion!

As I type this, we have still not seen the retro livery jet, and the chances for that are dwindling fast.

Yes, yes……..Airbus A220-300…….I know, I know……

Note: The first photo in this series was later published in Skies Magazine as part of a feature on the Airbus A220 program
