First Pegasus
What do you do on your first day back home from vacation ?
Hurry to the airport, of course!
Curaçao welcomed its first KC-46A Pegagsus this weekend. The aircraft, serial 18-46053, operated by the New Hampshire Air National Guard’s 157th Air Refueling Wing, arrived late Sunday. Of course, I was sitting on a KLM Boeing 777 at the time so arrival photographs were not possible.
Never giving up however, I found out Monday morning that the aircraft was still here, with the crew busy doing pre-flights. That was my chance to catch it taxiing and departing, all I had to do was wait. The tanker, using the callsign “REACH 319”, departed about 2 hours later, heading home to Pease ANGB.
