That time of year !
The “Hurricane Hunters” of the US Air Force’s 403 Wing/53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron paid Curaçao a visit May 29th-30th. The aircraft (WC-130J serial 99-5309) left its Keesler AFB (BIX/KBIX) home on May 27th, with an overnight stop in St-Thomas (STT/TIST).
The visit included an aircraft tour, as well as a detailed mission and capabilities brief for local officials and other island stakeholders.
