GlobalX A320-241 in Sunrise Airways livery departs Curaçao for Miami

I had previously shared photos of one of the two GlobalX Airbus A320 aircraft operating under the carrier’s agreement with Sunrise Airways. On February 20th, I photographed the second aircraft in the pairing, A320-241 N291GX, departing Curaçao for Miami (MIA/KMIA).

Unlike its sister aircraft, N291GX carries a noticeably more restrained exterior presentation. The Sunrise Airways livery features more subdued colours and offers little outward indication of GlobalX ownership, creating a clear visual contrast between the two A320s despite their shared operating role. While both aircraft appear visually dedicated to the Sunrise Airways agreement, GlobalX retains operational flexibility and may deploy the aircraft across other contractual commitments within its broader charter and ACMI portfolio.

The day proved even more notable with additional GlobalX activity in the region. The airline also operated an Airbus A320-214, N642VA, on a Miami–Caracas (CCS/SVMI)–Curaçao–Miami routing. Whether this flight was conducted as part of the company’s service agreement with Laser Airlines or related to other charter requirements remains uncertain.
