A morning in Eindhoven

Late one evening, I was looking at Amsterdam traffic for the following day on FlightRadar24, when I decided to have a quick look at other nearby airports.

When I selected Eindhoven, I immediately noticed that Buzz airlines had one flight on the schedule. There was nothing compelling on the AMS schedule, so I decided to make the drive to EIN early in the morning. It was only after that decision was made, that I discovered that Wizz Air’s 100th Airbus special livery was also scheduled. As it usually goes, the day started when it was still dark out, I didn’t have enough coffee, and I had no idea how things were going to go.

The P4 long-term parking is a really good location if you have never been to Eindhoven airport. You have full view of the ramp, taxiways, and the runway, with the sun at your back for a good part of the day. I only stayed for the morning, but if I had been able to stay longer, I would have tried some shots from the area around the end of the runway. With a bit of luck, there’s tons of potential at this airport.

Now, if only one of those tankers would have flown…
