Rare Visitor: Kalitta Charters Dassault Falcon 20 N820CK at Curaçao
Kalitta Charters Dassault Falcon 20C-5 N820CK made a brief cargo visit to Curaçao on February 21st 2024, one of the few remaining Falcon 20s still in active commercial freight service.

N820CK is a Dassault Falcon 20C-5 with manufacturer's serial number 120, built in 1967 and previously registered as F-GICF, N20AF, N4340F, N647JP, N205FJ and N410US before joining the Kalitta Charters fleet. Based at Willow Run Airport (YIP/KYIP) in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the aircraft is a remarkable survivor of a type that entered service over half a century ago and now exists in diminishing numbers worldwide.
Kalitta Charters was founded in December 2001 by Doug Kalitta in Ypsilanti, Michigan, as a Part 135 air carrier specializing in on-demand passenger and cargo charter services. Operating independently from the related but separate Kalitta Air, which is owned by Connie Kalitta, the company holds FAA certifications under both Parts 135 and 121, enabling domestic and international charter operations. Its fleet includes business jets such as the Falcon 20, Learjet 35 and Challenger 601, with the Falcon 20 fleet used primarily for smaller cargo and specialist charter missions. At 57 years old at the time of this visit, N820CK represents one of the older working aircraft to have visited Curaçao.
