USAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster III 00-0176 Tennessee ANG Visits Curaçao Amid Venezuela Relief Operations
United States Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster III serial 00-0176 made a seemingly unscheduled visit to Curaçao on July 11th, 2026. Assigned to the 164th Airlift Wing of the Tennessee Air National Guard, it departed Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) earlier that day presumably bound for Caracas, Venezuela.
Erratic data from FlightRadar24 shows that the aircraft flew South through the Maiquetia FIR, then South of the Caracas Simon Bolivar International Airport (CCS/SVMI) before turning North-West toward Curacao.
After landing on Hato International Airport’s runway 11, 00-0176 remained at the Cooperative Security Location (CSL) ramp for 2 hours before departing for JB MDL.
The 164th Airlift Wing is based at the Memphis Air National Guard Base (MEM/KMEM) and has been flying the C-17A since 2013.
